Are we suppose to repeat problems 3,4, and 5? I don’t get it…If we

‘re suppose to repeat it, good. But if that’s not the case, I hope Prof. Tucker doesn’t get the numbers confused anymore.

Answers I got for #7 pg. 31

P([T=6])= 64/729

P([T=5])= 64/243

P([T>=5])= (64/729)+(64/243)= 256/729

Can anyone confirm?

For #8 I got:

P([W>=0])= 1/729

P([W>=1])= (1/729)+(4/243)= 13/729

P([W>=2])= (13/729)+(60/729)= 73/729

Can anyone confirm? Any clues to Prove:9,10,12?

#8 is wrong. I believe the right answer is:

Compute:

P([W>=2])= 3/10

P([W>=0])= 2/10+1/10+3/10= 6/10= 3/5

P([W>=1])= 1/10+3/10= 4/10= 2/5
